BOLTON enjoyed cloudless skies as temperatures rose on the hottest day of the year so far.
Families basked in the sunshine over the weekend, as people flocked to fill the town’s parks and farms across the borough.
Temperatures reached 22 degrees Celcius in some parts of the country yesterday.
After a sunshine-filled weekend and cloudless skies for most of Saturday and Sunday, fortunes are set to change with the weather returning to normal for spring.
The Met Office predicts today and tomorrow will be much cloudier with spells of showers. Wednesday is expected to be windy with outbreaks of rain, although Thursday should be brighter with lighter winds, according to the Met Office.
Met Office forecaster Emma Boorman said: “From Monday onwards it’s really all-change with rain and cloud associated with a cold front.”
