FLATS: The plan is to build 11 apartments on the site
A THREE-STOREY block of flats could be built on the site of a former social club.
Bolton Council is currently considering plans to demolish the vacant Horwich Central Social Club, in Harrison Street, to make way for a new building containing 11 apartments.
The planning application states that the proposal would bring a brownfield site back into use and remove a building that is currently a "blot on the surrounding area".
