Cut all foreign aid and use those funds to look after all our own people before we start worrying about others. put a stop to all immigration from other countries and get real control of our borders with no exceptions. The governments of the countries who receive the aid should learn how to fend for themselves, we have been supporting them for over 50 years and are they any closer to self sufficiency now than they were then? No. Charity begins at home spend it on social care and the NHS.

Thatcher stood up to Europe and got a £5 billion PA rebate that Blair handed back.
Yes, Thatcher closed some hospitals but Blair sold them all off, as well as government buildings and police stations among others.
Thatcher fought for the Falklands, Blair took us into two illegal wars.
Thatcher came up with the poll tax, Blair robbed £5 billion from our pension funds, so we have to work an extra 3 years.
May wants a good deal for the UK, Corbin, who used to be against the EU, doesn't want us to leave.

I am looking forward to voting Conservative on the 8th June. Bolton West is already blue, time for the other areas to go blue this time. Labour has had a poor record after decades of Council control. If Labour represent the poor or the working person as they always talk about, why are so many people in Bolton living in poverty and poor conditions; and why do so many Bolton people I talk to speak negatively about the town, particularly the Bolton North and South areas? What/how much have the Labour MPs done for Bolton for all the time they have held their seats e.g. David Crausby (Bolton North East) in since 1997 and Yasmin Qureshi (Bolton South East) in since 2010? Time for change!

Mrs May, why all the hush hush about your flying visit to Bolton today? The local paper can't tell us where you are for security reasons? Seriously? What kind of equal campaign are you planning in the run up to the election when you fly in and out again in less than 30 minutes (if that!) to kick off your campaign. You must consider Bolton to be unsafe for you if you have to withhold information on your visit until after you have left. Are you planning the same party trick for other parts of the UK, or is it just the little people up North who are not worthy to know of your visit?

Your actions today means you just lost my vote in the GE.

I do wonder where you got all the banner wavers from for the benefit of the TV cameras?

I believe It is because of her position as Prime Minister. Security protocols are probably in place not to disclose information about where the PM may be at when making such snap visits. By the time information is disclosed, the venue is probably closed off and guarded by security personnel. I think similar precaution is also made for Government ministers, especially Secretaries of State. Regarding other campaigning, as can be guessed from previous elections, if the PM is in public places like squares and streets, security will probably be in place, and even then, unless the campaign team announce they are visiting the location, the incumbent PM or minister probably have little time inform everyone.

I also find it interesting how Corbyn, a London MP decides to launch his campaign in a London constituency (Croydon), whilst Mrs May decides to begin her campaign in Bolton North East. Goes to show that the Tories don't actually forget about the North and that Labour seem to only be speaking for the London metropole, where their support is highest and more stable, and is strongly pro-EU. At least May and the Conservatives do recognise there is a wider country outside of London, and recognises the wider viewpoints of the country as a whole, especially concerning Brexit. The fact Bolton West went Conservative last time shows this, and that Bolton North East has seen tory inroads in both 2010 and 2015, with decreasing labour majority, is a sign that this time, Labour could be finished in Bolton. Forget what the right wing mainstream media want you to believe, Corbyn IS a leader (he's been on the right side of history for over 30 years) and is the ONLY one that can improve the lot of millions of ordinary people in this country, especially in places like Bolton (a place that has disproportionately suffered as a result of Tory policy).

Nothing less than a strong leadership is what the country wants, to lead us in achieving the nation’s desired future.
