A MAN was left with life-changing injuries after being attacked in an alleyway off Kenyon Street in Radcliffe.
The victim, in his late 20s, was found covered in blood with a fractured skull, broken ribs and a punctured lung following the attack.
Police were called to the scene late on Wednesday night, April 12.
A GMP spokesperson said: “We were called about 11.15pm to reports a man had been found covered in blood in an alleyway following a serious assault.
“He was then taken to hospital with life changing injuries after suffering a fractured skull, broken ribs and a punctured lung.”
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are urging anyone who witnessed the attack or who has further information to contact them on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
