TWO lucky women scooped tickets to see a spectacular new musical in Manchester.

Andrea Lehner won two tickets to see Jim Steinman’s Bat Out Of Hell at Opera House Manchester after entering a competition with The Bolton News.

Andrea, aged 49, took her friend Rachel Byron along to see the show - which was recently extended by three weeks due to overwhelming public demand.

Ms Lehner said: "I was so thrilled to win the tickets. I've been a massive meatloaf fan since I was a little girl.

"We both thought the show was absolutely amazing so thank you again to The Bolton News."

The romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love is set against the backdrop of a post-cataclysmic city adrift from the mainland.

Strat, the forever young leader of The Lost, has fallen for Raven, daughter of Falco, the tyrannical, ruler of Obsidian.

The musical features iconic Meatloaf hits including You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth, Bat Out Of Hell, I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That) and Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad.

Described as a 'sexy, spectacular' show by critics, the musical is on at the Opera House in Manchester until Saturday, April 29.
