WE published a photograph on April 12 and asked readers to identify where it was taken.
Stephen Ashcroft, David Batty from Blackrod got it correct as did Michael Strickleton, David Strickleton and Colin Dawes.
Also with the right answer were Philip Page, Stephen Keeley, John Bannister, Jonathan Churchouse, David Lloyd, David Critchley.
For anyone who did not recognise where it was taken the picture showed Lostock Junction Station in a shot we thought was most probably taken in the 1950s.
After that the station did close and then re-open again and it is still in use today. It was a very popular station.
So what about this week’s picture?
Do you recognise where it was taken?
Contact Gayle McBain with your answer at gayle.mcbain@nqnw.co.uk or ring 01204 537269 leaving your name and the answer and we will endeavour to get as many correct answers in the paper as possible.
