A boy has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Ramsbottom.
The collision happened in Bolton Road West at around 4.20pm this afternoon.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police, said: "We were called at 4.25pm to reports of a 12-year-old boy, who had been hit by a silver Mini Cooper.
"He had very minor injuries."
The boy was taken to hospital to be checked over.
The owner of the Mini stayed at the scene following the collision.
Anyone with any information about the collision is asked to contact police on 101.
