A MINUTE'S silence in honour of the victims of the Manchester Arena attack will be held in Bolton town centre this morning.
People are invited to gather at Victoria Square from around 10.5am to observe the silence, which begins at 11am.
Similar events will be taking place across the country after the government called a national minute’s silence yesterday.
It will be marked at all government buildings and other organisations may follow suit.
Flags on government buildings will remain at half-mast until this evening.
