TRIBUTE: Horwich town mayor Cllr Steve Rock and mayores Lynn Rock sign the book of condolence
THE Mayor of Horwich has signed a book of condolence for the victims of the Manchester bombing.
Cllr Steve Rock and mayoress Lynn Rock signed the book on Wednesday at Horwich Community Centre, in tribute to the 22 people who died.
He said: “On behalf of the town council and the community of Horwich, I would like to express my condolences to the victims and their families.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
"We as a town stand by the people of Manchester and their bravery.” He also thanked the emergency services."
