SCOOTER fans from across the region rode out together in a show of support for the family of Olivia Campbell-Hardy, who was killed in the Manchester bombing.

The family are keen scooter riders and are members of the Skin City Scooter Club, managed by Olivia's step-dad Paul Hodgson.

Mr Hodgson, aged 47, praised the support the family had been given by the scooter community.

The ride, organised through Facebook, included 'hundreds and hundreds' of scooter enthusiasts who rode to the family home in Redvales Road, Bury, then formed a guard of honour to Manchester.

Olivia's mum, Charlotte Campbell, aged 36, who owns her own Frozen-themed scooter, was driven in a car to St Ann's Square with other members of the family.

The family laid their own tributes to 15-year-old Olivia in the square, and a tearful Ms Campbell kissed a picture of her daughter before setting it down among the flowers.

Jacqui Lever, aged 45, helped spread the word about the ride and gathered riders to meet before setting off to the family home.

Mrs Lever, from Rochdale, said: "There were hundreds and hundreds taking part."

Mr Hodgson formed Skin City Scooter Club with Jeff Robinson, who owns a tattoo studio of the same name in Tonge Moor Road, Bolton.

Mr Hodgson and Ms Campbell both had tattoos etched onto their hearts at the studio to honour Olivia on Thursday.

Olivia attended an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena on Monday night with her friend Adam Lawler, also 15.

Adam was injured in the blast, which claimed the lives of 22 people.
