FOLLOWING last month’s attack on Manchester Arena, staff are working towards re-opening it in early September.

The Arena's management intends to honour its existing summer events and is working with its promoters to find suitable alternative venues.

A statement on the Arena's website explains, "the damage caused to the main public area outside of the arena has left us with no other option than to remain closed until September".

The statement adds: "We would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude to all our customers and friends for their continued support and patience during this time and our ongoing thoughts and prayers remain with all those affected by the May 22 atrocity."

If you have tickets to an event during this period, more information about arrangements can be found on their website manchester-arena.com.
