CALLING all selfie fans.

Today is National Selfie Day — what better time to launch our search for a man and a woman to be crowned Mr or Miss Bolton News 2017.

The winners will each win a package of prizes, including the chance to attend our event in December celebrating The Bolton News' 150th anniversary — hosted by comedian Peter Kay.

We want to celebrate the people of Bolton and find a lad and a lass to represent the town and our paper in this special year.

The winners do not have to be a couple and each competitor should send in his or her entry separately.

Other prizes include: Back, neck and shoulder-tension buster for man/ luxury back soufflé treatment for woman at The Doll House, Bolton; Man’s haircut/ woman's blow dry at Copperlights hairdressers; Four tickets each for The Light Cinema in Bolton; Two meals for two people at Odessa Café in Bolton town centre; Roastbusters, Bolton, will deliver two Sunday dinners to each winner and a bottle of Prosecco each from Bargain Booze, Deane Road.

Entries can be sent in via our Facebook page or e mail them to melanie.disley@nqnw.co.uk with your name, age and phone number.

You can also use the contributions tool below.

The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives within Bolton's borough boundaries.

Deadline for entries is July 16.

Usual Newsquest rules apply, visit theboltonnews.co.uk/competitions/terms for full details.
