FIREFIGHTERS were called to the Royal College of Nursing in Bolton today to rescue two women from a lift.
The lift in Chesham House broke down just before noon between the first and second floors.
A crew from Bolton North were called out to St George’s Square and used a lift key to prise open the doors.
The passengers, who had been trapped inside for around 15 minutes, escaped from the lift unharmed.
