CAMPAIGNERS hoping to stop a huge redevelopment of the Hulton Park estate are offering to help residents lodge their objections this week.
Members of Hulton Estate Area Residents Together (HEART) will be holding a drop-in session at the Mercury Hotel in Westhoughton tomorrow night.
At the meeting, which starts at 7pm, the group will be providing advice on how nearby residents can submit their response to Peel Holdings’ plans to built a championship golf course and more than 1,000 homes on the historic estate.
The developer’s ambitious £240 million plans also include a ‘New Hulton Hall’ hotel — to be built on the site of the former Hulton family home which was demolished in the 1950s — and a golf academy.
