A CAR ploughed into parked cars and a wall taking out a gate post which smashed through a window of a house during a police chase in the early hours.
Police pursued the car from Deane Church Lane in Daubhill at around 2am as it drove off from a police patrol.

Officers say it lost control at high speed before crashing into a wall and parked cars with a gate post smashing through a window and landing in the front room of a house.
At the scene of the crash, one neighbour fed-up with speeding along St Helens Road addressed a police officer about the problem.
One man has been arrested.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "The car they were pursuing collided with stationary vehicles on St Helens Road.
"Garden wall and window damaged."
One man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving."

There were no serious injuries in the incident.
