A VIKING themed fancy dress hike takes place next month.
Hikers will make their way from Liverpool Castle to Rivington Pike on Saturday, August 12.
It will be followed by an afternoon of family fun at Rivington Terraced Garden, where there will be axe throwing, birds of prey, team challenges, face painting and other activities.
Entry is £7 for adults and £4 for children.
