A 34-year-old woman has been charged with causing the death of Ian Wilcox by dangerous driving in Bolton.
Violeta Taraskevic, of Brierwood, Bolton, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
She has been remanded to appear at Bolton Magistrates' Court today.
Shortly before 5.15am on Monday, police officers were called to reports of a serious collision involving a BMW 530 and Chevrolet Matiz on Tonge Moor Road.
Father-of-two Ian Wilcox, aged 42, who was travelling in the Chevrolet, was taken to Salford Royal Hospital with life threatening injuries and sadly died.
A 34-year-old man, who was also arrested at the scene, has since been released without charge.
