A BARWORKER and chef has opened a new bar in Horwich after people mentioned that there was nowhere for them to go and drink cocktails.
'Tails And Ale was opened on Friday at a formerly empty premises in Lee Lane by local bar worker and chef Cameron Chippendale.
The 29-year-old, who lives in Mary Street, has worked at a number of pubs and restaurants in Horwich, including at the Jolly Crofters.
But he came up with the idea for a combined cocktail and ale bar after hearing complaints, mainly from women, that there was nowhere to drink cocktails in the town.
The bar held its official launch party last week on Friday and Mr Chippendale said he was pleased with the turnout.
