PIZZA store workers raised £600 for a charity that supports seriously ill youngsters.
Staff from Domino’s Pizza’s Bolton outlets put on a fun day event at Rumworth Hall to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Families enjoyed a host of attractions including a bouncy castle, face painting and a variety of stalls including cakes, pick ‘n’ mix and bric-a-brac.
There were also a number of games, including a basketball challenge, and a fiendishly difficult which involved trying to land a fifty-pence piece on top of a pound coin at the bottom of a bucket of water.
A number of Bolton businesses including a fancy dress shop, a tattoo parlour and a pet grooming service also provided raffle prizes.
Among the most coveted prizes up for grabs were four Cineworld tickets which allow the winner to go to an unlimited number of films between now and December.
And the special guests were the current junior and teen Miss Lancashire.
Samantha Rooney, manager at Domino’s store in Blackburn Road, said: “Everybody seemed to really enjoy it, especially the raffle prizes, everybody was very eager to get the best ones and it was good to see people turn up for it.”
In 2015 Domino’s formed a fundraising partnership with the Teenage Cancer Trust, which provides support, care and advice for young people living with cancer.
