A group of youths have been accused of starting a fire in a Horwich park this afternoon.
Firefighters were called out twice to Old Station Park after a BMX was set alight.
Crews went to the park, which is just opposite the station, just before 4pm to put out a blaze on the front end of the tyre.
They then returned at 5.20pm when the rear tyre was set on fire.
Crew Manager Mike Fairhurst said: "We think some kids nicked someone's bike and set fire to it.
"We want to warn people to be careful and keep an eye on their bikes and make sure they are securely locked up."
