THE next fundraiser in memory of a dad and Wanderers fanatic will be held next month.
Andrew ‘Pud’ Leigh died in January after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
His family have been raising money and awareness in his memory ever since, including at a recent charity cricket match.
On Sunday, September 10 a family fun day will be held at Bobs Brew off Scholes Bank in Horwich.
It will feature a Bolton Wanderers Legends team against Horwich St Mary’s Victoria football match.
There will also be a barbecue and a bar as well as a kids fun fair.
A duck race will also be held on the same day.
The day kicks off at noon and everyone is invited to come and join in the fun, and attendance for children is free.
Money at the event raised will help support The Brain Tumour Charity through The Andrew ‘Pud’ Leigh Fund.
