PLANS for a luxury six-bedroom home with a pool, gym, and games room in the basement have been rejected.
Bolton Council has denied permission for the demolition of a two-storey house in Regent Road, Lostock, which was to be replaced with a new six-bedroom, three-storey development.
The council’s planning office said that the development was ‘not considered to be in keeping with the surrounding residential area by virtue of scale, mass, height and design’.
Town hall officers also said they were concerned by the potential loss of protected trees as a result of the building project.
