A NEW eye care clinic has opened in Altrincham.

Optieye Care is an NHS approved, group of ophthalmic clinics and bespoke optician practices with a wealth of experience in the medical and optical professions.

Since Manchester Royal Eye Hospital opened a major expansion of ophthalmology services for Trafford in Altrincham, Optieye Care wanted to play a part in the development.

Its core values are: Integrity, community and social impact, ambition, excellence and responsibility

A spokesperson from Optieye care said: “We are excited in opening our new practice and look forward to meeting and looking after the eye health of the Altrincham community. If you have any questions please feel free to pop in and have a cup of tea and a chat we are at 1 Regent Street just up from the Hospital.

“Our team is made up of highly qualified, very experienced optometrists, delivering clinical excellence led by our in house consultant ophthalmologist. Optieye Care delivers bespoke in-house services specifically designed around the needs of our clients. This includes having a specialist in-house glazier that makes the lenses to match our clients’ prescription for each eye perfectly.

“It is an age old cliché that eyes are the window to the soul, but your eyes are a window to your general health. Regular eye examination can identify early signs of many conditions for example glaucoma, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

“Even the tiniest eyes need regular and sometimes specialist eye care during their eyes development. Little ones often can’t tell you there is a problem and if diagnosed early enough many problems can be rectified. We use different tests on children’s eyes to adults, and we make it as playful as possible for them.

“At Optieye Care we deliver exceptional bespoke care for every generation of your family’s eye health including extensive free after care services.”
