A DRIVER drove through a red light after refusing to stop for police officers.
Police spotted the car overnight on Saturday and when officers tried to get it to stop the driver ignored the request and drove through a red light.
The car was abandoned on Trinity Street, in the town centre, and the driver fled.
Police seized the car as it was found not to have any insurance.
