A MAN was cut out of his vehicle following a three car smash.
The crash happened at around 10pm yesterday in Horwich.
Emergency services were called to Chorley New Road close to the junction with Webb Street.
The specialist technical response unit from Leigh freed a man trapped in a Toyota Corolla.
Crews from Bolton Central and Horwich were also mobilised to the scene.
Watch Manager Alex Sugden said: "We were called to a three car collision in which one person was trapped.
"The man was suffering leg injuries and suspected back and neck injuries.
"We removed the roof."
The others involved in the accident are thought to have suffered minor injuries.
