POLICE have released CCTV footage which shows the last known movements of missing man, Caspar Blackburn from Sale.

The 22-year-old was last seen sitting on a bench outside of the Slug and Lettuce, just after 2am on Sunday morning.

Detectives have now released CCTV footage of Caspar leaving the bar.

Police have continued their search of the Bridgewater Canal and surrounding areas in Sale and urging anyone that was in Sale in the early hours of Sunday morning with any photos or videos they took that night to come forward in hope they may spot Caspar in the background.

Detective Inspector Carl Gilbert said: "We are very concerned for Caspar at the moment, it is very unusual for him.

"He came out of the Slug and Lettuce at around 2am on Sunday morning and sat on a bench nearby and has not been seen since.

"Officers are working around the clock to carry out a detailed search of the whole of Sale, starting at the nearest and most likely point and moving further out.

"The CCTV only shows Caspar walking out very normally and only has a t-shirt on, which is why this is so unusual.

"He had used his phone during the day but from the point he left the Slug and Lettuce has not been used since.

"Caspar turns up for work every day, even when he was sick but he has not been in work since or spoken to any friends or family.

"We are following every lead we get so it is really important that anyone with any pictures or videos from Saturday night - Sunday morning to come forward, as we might be able to spot Caspar in the Background.

"If anyone has seen someone that looked like Caspar or even anyone that they might have been concerned about or saw a drunk person falling over - we need them to come forward.

"We will continue our search until we find Caspar."

Caspar is described as, white, 5ft 8in tall, and has short ginger hair. He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt and blue jeans.
