YOUNG and old are invited to get into the spirit of Halloween this month.
Bolton Library and Museums are putting on a number of frightful events including a ghost and history tour at Smithills Hall. Visitors aged 16 and over can find out more about Bolton’s grandest home and those who may even still reside there.
And on Halloween itself, children aged six to 12 can listen to some spooky stories and make a creepy craft to take home at Bolton Central Library.
They can come dressed in costume, with prizes for the best costume. The event is free and takes place between 6pm to 7pm.
The tour at Smithills Hall is priced £8 for adults and £7 for concessions.
Booking in advanced is essential either at the History Centre in Bolton Central Library or by phoning 01204 332185.
It takes place on October 19 at 7pm
