A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a crash on Crompton Way.
Police were called to the junction of Fountains Avenue at around noon today.
Three cars were involved in the crash and one lane was blocked while two of the vehicles were recovered.
A green Toyota went into the back of a Volkswagen Polo in the crash and both had to be taken away.
Fluids spilled into the road as a result of the crash and officers also had to clear debris away.
A woman was taken away from the scene in an ambulance but only suffered minor injuries.
Airbags had deployed in the Toyota, which had its front end damaged and the back of the Polo was also damaged.
The lane was blocked for around 90 minutes and reopened shortly before 1.30pm.
