CLOSURE: Chew Moor Lane
A ROAD will be closed for two weekends while resurfacing works take place.
Chew Moor Lane in Westhoughton will be closed later this month for two consecutive weekends.
It will be shut to motorists on October 21 and 22 and then October 28 and 29.
Work is taking place from Bolton Road to the motorway bridge.
A diversion will be in place via Bolton Road, Manchester Road, Syndale Way, Wigan Road, Beaumont Road and Junction Road West.
Additional work will also take place during the week in-between the two weekends under temporary traffic lights.
