THESE pictures should bring back some memories for our readers.
They show one of Bolton’s busiest shopping areas - Oxford Street, off Victoria Square.
The avenue links Bolton’s municipal heart to Knowsley Street, forming a continues precinct all the way from the interchange to the town centre’s north.
Among these pictures there are some long-lost shops, including the Toymaster store and Virgin Games Store.
Elsewhere we see an unusual shot taken on a fish eye camera lens, as well as an interesting view of the Oxford Street steam engine pre-Fred Dibnah statue.
