YOUNGSTERS and staff rolled out of bed and straight into nursery still in their onesies and pyjamas — all for a good cause.
Little Angels Nursery in Crompton Way held a special fundraising event where children, for one day only, could attend in their night clothes in support of Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
They paid a donation of a £1, although many parents paid more to support the work of the hospital.
Saffiya Patel, nursery nurse, who turned up in her pyjamas said: "The children turned up in their pyjamas or onesies. The e staff also wore their pyjamas because they wanted to be a part of it and it has been fun.
"We will be presenting a cheque to the hospital with the money raised from the fundraising event."
Staff and children loved the chance to turn up in their pjs.
Zain Moores, aged three, said: "It is good to come to nursery in my pyjamas, I have enjoyed it a lot."
