THE back of a car was damaged after catching fire.
The Vauxhall Astra went up in flames in Huntroyde Avenue, Tonge, at around 9.15am on Sunday, October 22.
Firefighters said the cause of the blaze is unknown, but the incident has been reported to the police as a possible arson attack.
When the crew from Bolton North fire station arrived at the scene, the car's boot and parcel shelf were on fire.
Firefighters spent around 20 minutes extinguishing the blaze and the owner of the car was not present at the scene.
