YOUNG explorers enjoyed a musical fundraising adventure.
Youngsters at Jo Jingles in Egerton were sponsored to go and explore the wonders of nature without leaving the class.
Some even came dressed for the day.
Caroline Blackburn, manager, said: "The children went exploring in four different areas. They went fishing in the pond, exploring in the long grass for bugs, they visited the cave and saw spiders and went to the farm.
"The children thoroughly enjoyed it and have raised quite a lot of money, some parents set up justgiving pages too."
And as Jo Jingles is a children's music and singing organisation they sang songs and played music as they went.
Songs included Old McDonald and Spider of the Floor.
The money, raised will go to Tommy's, the miscarriage and stillbirth charity.
Jo Jingles, which holds music and singing classes for children, holds a number of classes in Bolton and across the country, is hoping to raise £100,000.
