A LAW firm has teamed up with a housing scheme in a bid to help young people eat and keep warm this winter.

Russell and Russell is backing the Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme (BYPHS) in their #10tinchallenge.

The practice in Wood Street is acting as a drop off point for donated items of food to help ensure young homeless people do not go hungry this winter.

Amanda Connor, head of family law at the firm, said: “Sadly, the number of people who are homeless is growing and as winter approaches we want to help do our bit to support those who find themselves in this awful position.

“So we’re requesting that next time people are out shopping, they spare a thought for those less fortunate and pop and extra tin in their trolley.”

Buying one extra item of food in the weekly shop will help BYPHS provide hot meals to around 100 homeless youngsters.
