CENTRE: Cards can br dropped off at the centre
AN appeal has been made for residents to help a veteran celebrate his birthday.
Bolton Armed Forces Centre For Veterans asked residents to drop by with a card for a veteran who lives on his own.
Ex-parachuter Anthony Fothergill, known as Tony, was very active in helping to organise the remembrance weekend.
Mr Fothergill will turn 59 today but he does not have Facebook or use computers.
Bolton Armed Forces Centre For Veterans asked residents to visit him at 60 Ashburner Street, Bolton, BL1 1TD.
