A TRAMPOLINE park is ready to bounce into a new era after announcing a major new expansion of its site.

Jump Xtreme, based at Bolton’s Trinity Retail Park, is set to expand its adventure play area to include ‘6,000 square feet of fun’ over three levels.

Rebranded as That Fun Place at Jump Xtreme, it will offer more than 40 different activities — from a ball pool and a racing slide to an aerial runway and crawl tube.

The larger play area will expand from one floor to three and will be aimed primarily at toddlers through to 12-year-olds, to ensure the park, which opened in March, 2016, caters for fun-seekers of all ages.

Richard Green, Jump Xtreme marketing director, said: “We’re very excited about the planned expansion of our offering.

“We’ve had a remarkably successful 19-month operation since opening, but have listened to our customers, who have told us they would like a broader offering for toddlers and pre-teens.

“Our expanded adventure play area provides just that.

“Families, incorporating kids of all ages, will now be able to participate at the same time, either on the trampoline beds or in the adventure play area, making us a true one-stop destination for some quality family time.”

There will also be a new cafe area based on Starbucks at the park, offering a range of hot drinks and snacks.

Mr Green added: “Our new, additional cafe area will provide parents with a comfortable base from which they can supervise their children’s play activities.”

The news is the latest boost for Trinity Retail Park, which will also sees new attraction Be NINJA, owned by a separate group, opening early next month.

Robin Johnson, Jump Xtreme managing director, says the expansion will see the park ‘right at the heart of what is rapidly becoming the focus of Bolton’s leisure offering’.

He said: “With Jump Xtreme already well established as a primary leisure activity in the area we believe our expansion, along with the forthcoming opening of Be NINJA next door, will firmly establish Trinity Retail Park as the number one go-to destination for families looking for a great day out in Bolton and surrounding areas.”

The expanded facility will reopen on Boxing Day after closing between December 4 and 15 while the refurbishment work is undertaken.

It will reopen for trampolining only on December 16 and That Fun Place at Jump Xtreme will be available from December 26.
