A STOLEN vehicle was discovered by police after a severe fire left it burnt out.

The Radcliffe neighbourhood policing team retrieved the vehicle from a wooded area with help from Auto Rescue.

The car was towed out from near Starmount Lodge, in Bradley Fold.

GMP Radcliffe said via Twitter: “An outstanding stolen vehicle was recovered with severe fire damage.

“It left burnt debris in a natural wooded area causing damage to foliage and wildlife.”
