The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning for ice and a chance of snow in the North West.
Ice is expected to hit Greater Manchester between 6pm today and 10am on Saturday.
There is potential for slippery surfaces and difficult driving conditions. Snow showers are also expected, mainly over high ground, with longer journey times possible.
Motorists have been warned to expect some icy patches forming on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths tonight and tomorrow morning.
