AN annual carol sing will return to Tottington as villagers get into the festive spirit.
Tottington Methodist Church has invited residents to come together for the Annual Village Carol Sing complete with music and merriment.
The event on Saturday, December 9, will be centred around the Council Christmas tree at the bottom of Wesley Street and in the church grounds, adjacent to the tree.
Free drinks and mince pies will be served in St John’s Church, Kirklees Street, for the band and all those who have taken part. The celebration takes place between 11am and noon.
And the church are hosting an Advent Sunday and Christmas gift service. The event will start at 10.30am on Sunday, December 3.
The church will be accepting gifts for the Radcliffe-based charity Porch Boxes, which supplies crisis packs to vulnerable people across the borough.
Gift ideas include selection boxes, boxed mince pies, and Christmas puddings.
