A CHRISTMAS gala concert in aid of Bolton Hospice will be performed in Bolton town centre this weekend and there are still some tickets remaining.

The Eagley Brass Band, Smithills Community Band and Smithills Community Choir, with 120 Voices, will present a feast of festive music, conducted by Chris Wormald on Saturday at 7.30pm.

Mr Wormald said: "We are thoroughly looking forward to the concert: "It promises to be a fantastic evening and at the same time as listening to some of the best-loved Christmas songs, we will be raising money for the hospice which provides a wonderful service.

"We hope the public of Bolton will get behind us and come along this Saturday. The more tickets we sell, the more money is raised for the hospice."

The concert will include songs from Disney's Frozen, White Christmas, Slade's Merry Christmas, Michael Buble's It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, The Snowman and The Christmas Song All proceeds will go to the hospice and tickets are just £6 (£5 concessions) and available from Bolton Hospice, The Victoria Hall Box Office, Smithills School Reception and Booth's Music Shop in Churchgate.
