FIRE: A fourth child has died following a fire in Walkden. Lia Pearson was taken to hospital after the fire
A THREE-year-old girl who was fighting for her life following a house fire in Walkden has died in hospital.
The girl, Lia Pearson, was in a critical condition in hospital following the fire in Jackson Street on Monday morning.
Her brother and sisters Demi Pearson, aged 15, Brandon Pearson, aged eight and Lacie Pearson, aged seven, also died in the fire.
Harrop Fold and Bridgewater Primary schools' headteachers paid tribute to the three children yesterday.
The children's mother is still fighting for her life in hospital.
Two 16-year-old boys escaped from the house uninjured.
