A LONG-awaited discount supermarket in Radcliffe is coming closer.
The owners of the Lidl site in Dale Street have applied for permission to put up advertising signs at the new store.
The plans include fascia signs, wall mounted billboards, a 7.5m-high totem sign and a poster display unit.
Branded the 'Lidl of the future' in May, the site of the former Bus Station and Kwik Save store, opposite Asda, will become a new state-of-the-art store.
The supermarket is planning to open from 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sundays. The store is due to open in 2018.
