PEDESTRIANS are being allowed to walk down one side of Bank Street as an investigation into a stabbing continues.
They are able to access businesses on the right side from the town centre and Noggis Hairdressing is open as usual to clients.
But customers of Framearound in Bank Street being urged to contact the owner on his mobile with any queries they may have as there is no access on that side of the road.
Owner Les Cliff said: “I hope the young man who has been attacked will be okay.
“I am not able to get into the shop at but would ask customers to contact me on my mobile phone 07442491954.
" I will open tomorrow if the cordon is lifted."
Miller Metcalfe, where the pavement was cordoned off, opened at around 10.30am.
