TWO appeals have raised nearly £7,000 for the family of the victims of the Walkden house fire.
Siblings, Demi, Lacie, Lia and Brandon died in the fire in Jackson Street in the early hours of Monday, December 11.
The children's mother, Michelle Pearson, remains in a coma in hospital and two JustGiving pages have been launched to raise money to support her and the rest of the family.
The pages have now raised a combined total of £6,700.
A separate GoFundMe page has raised £18,000 towards a funeral for the four children.
On Saturday night a vigil was held in St Mary's Park, Walkden, as the community came together to remember the children.
One of the pages was set up by family friend Nicole Skoczypec.
On it she wrote: "No amount of money can fix this but anything to help at all.
"Let’s pray for Michelle and hope she recovers.”
