A 50-YEAR-OLD Over Hulton resident died on December 21 after developing sepsis following surgery, an inquest heard.
Mrs Jacquelyn Smith had been unwell for six months when she was admitted to the Bolton Royal Hospital on October 13.
She later underwent the operation and her condition subsequently deteriorated, area coroner Alan Walsh heard.
The inquest was adjourned until May 3.
