TALENTED Jaiden Sayer is living his dream to perform – ever since his star quality was spotted by Peter Kay.

The 14-year-old won the Bolton’s Got Talent show which was hosted by the comic to celebrate The Bolton News’ 150th anniversary.

The win has spurred him on to dance and this October he will be taking to the stage on the Independence of the Seas cruise ship – and could net a top agent or manager.

He will perform for agents and managers in the industry from London, New York, Los Angeles and Toronto.

Jaiden, who attends Westhoughton High School, was chosen from around 600 people to be one of 100 to step aboard after a successful audition.

He will take part in a 20 hour intense development program in September which includes classes in acting and coaching.

He said: “Winning Bolton’s Got Talent has got my name out there and made people realise what I want to do for a career.

"This means that other people in the industry, especially those overseas, believe in me.”

Proud mum Linzi said: “Since he was chosen as the winner by Peter Kay, which is such a big thing, Jaiden just wants to go for everything,

"Before he would say that he was not sure, but now he says he just wants to go for it. He is being supported more by the wider community.

"I do think this is as result of winning the competition and being chosen by Peter Kay. His confidence has gone up and he is supported by his family and friends who travel with him to keep him focused.”

Joshua Meeks, president of the Talent INC International President, which organised the competition, said: “We have been on a national audition tour through the UK, auditioning talent in London, Bristol, Maidstone, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle.

"We have around 600 people registered to audition for our UK showcase and we are looking for the top 100 performers.”

Warren Bacci, of Top Talent Agency of London, added the Jaiden was set for stardom.

He said: “Jaiden has a great look for film and television.

“My agency has come to the UK showcase for two years now and I have found incredible, trained and marketed talent through this programme.

“For me, Jaiden was a natural to go through this experience to build his CV and techniques so that agents can offer him representation and help him work professionally in the industry.”
