THE first police dog on the scene of the Manchester Arena bomb has been awarded for its work.
British Transport Police dog Mojo and its handler Phil Healey received the Humanitarian Award in front of 8,000 people at Crufts on Sunday.
On the night of the attack the pair worked around the injured to search the area and clear it of any potential secondary devices.
Mojo received the award for working tirelessly in the 'horrendous and traumatic' conditions and also helped keep people safe in the aftermath and was on the scene until 7am.
