EMERGENCY services were called out to a crash at a busy junction this afternoon.
Fire crews from Farnworth and Bolton North received reports of the incident, involving two vehicles, at the junction of Tonge Moor Road and Crompton Way, shortly after 3.40pm.
A technical rescue unit from Ashton-under-Lyne and an ambulance also attended the scene as it was initially feared that a woman had been trapped in her vehicle.
However, she was led out of her car by a paramedic and assessed at the scene. No one was taken to hospital following the incident.
Two fire engines and an ambulance were pictured parked outside the Co-op store further down Tonge Moor Road.
