A FORMER pilot who flew members of the Royal Family across the world will be giving a talk in Over Hulton this week.
Graham Laurie spent 35 years at the RAF and 12 years of that time was spent as captain of the Queen's Flight.
During this time he was responsible for flying the Queen and other members of her family to worldwide destinations.
He was also appointed as the pilot tasked with flying Princess Diana's body from Paris to England.
During his presentation he will talk about his career and what it was like transporting royalty across the world.
The event has been organised by the Over Hulton Community Group and will take place at the Over Hulton Conservative Club on Thursday. Anyone who is interested in attending can pay the £3 entrance fee on the door.
But community group chairman John Bullen asked if people can let them know if they are coming by calling 01942 874719.
