A WOMAN was injured after a car overturned in a two vehicle crash in Lostock.
The incident occurred at around 7.30pm in Chorley New Road after a Kia Sorento collided with a parked Audi Q5, near the junctions of Beaumont Road and Victoria Road.
One woman suffered injuries to her back and spine and complained of further arm injuries.
She managed to get out of her car and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The Kia suffered significant damage is now though to be written off. The Audi also suffered damage to the rear of the vehicle.
Chorley New Road near to the incident was closed following the crash, however it has now reopened though traffic is moving slowly.
